Dr. David Agus

Biography
As Director of the Spielberg Family Center for Applied Proteomics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, USA, Dr. Agus leads a multidisciplinary team of researchers dedicated to the development and use of proteomic technologies to guide doctors in making health-care decisions tailored to individual needs. The center grew out of earlier clinical projects at Cedars-Sinai, where Dr. Agus served as an Attending Physician in oncology, which showed striking differences between the aggressiveness of prostate cancer in certain patients and their ability to respond to treatment.
Dr. Agus also serves as Director of the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center, Attending Physician in the Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology at Cedars-Sinai. Dr. Agus' prior appointments include Attending Physician and head of the Laboratory of Tumor Biology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, and Assistant Professor at Cornell University Medical Center.
Dr. Agus graduated cum laude with honors in molecular biology from Princeton University, received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Biography
Doug Ducey is the lead investor and Chairman of the Board for iMemories, an Arizona-based company that is the leader in home movie-to-DVD and Internet technology.
Previous to iMemories, Doug was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board for Cold Stone Creamery, Inc., the world’s fastest growing ice cream concept. He became a partner in Cold Stone Creamery in 1995. At the time of merger and sale of the company in May 2007, there were more than 1,400 Cold Stone Creameries operating in 12 countries around the world. Total system-wide sales for the brands exceed US$1.1 billion dollars upon combination of the company in 2007, with Cold Stone representing more than US$500 million of the total.
Prior to joining Cold Stone Creamery, Doug held marketing and sales management positions with both Anheuser-Busch (Hensley & Co.) and Procter & Gamble. Honors include the 2002 Spirit of Enterprise Award on behalf of Cold Stone Creamery by the Center for the Advancement of Small Business at the W. P. Carey Business School at Arizona State University, and induction into the W.P Carey School of Business Hall of Fame in 2004. He is also the past President for the Arizona chapter of Young Entrepreneur’s Organization and past President of the Greater Phoenix Economic Club.
In 2006, Doug was awarded the MUFSO Golden Chain Award— the nation’s highest honor for restaurateurs’. In 2007, he was honored with the AFP Spirit of Philanthropy Award. Doug has appeared on CNN, CBS, and Fox. He has been featured in nationally published business, management and leadership books, as well as many national periodicals, including TIME and Fast Company. Doug has also written columns for Business Week and INC Magazine.
