What was the biggest factor in your success as an entrepreneur?
“Every business has its ups and downs, and you always have naysayers telling you to give up. Having the tenacity of a terrier and the irreverence of a juvenile delinquent has helped me deal with whatever life throws at me.”
Starting out in business, is there anything you wish you knew then that you know now?
“Sure! Don't blindly believe the 'experts' and 'management gurus.' The keys to success are not great strategy in a glamorous business, it’s keeping your head down, executing to the best of your ability and making small improvements every day.”
What have you learned from your EO experiences?
“That it's great to be surrounded by like-minded people who face similar problems that I do. I have made some lifelong friends and learned a lot from the experiences of my entrepreneurial peers in EO!”
